SNP Technologies & Microsoft Host 1 Day Azure Immersion Workshop on Cloud Native Apps with Kubernetes & Azure Technologies

This workshop is delivered by an SNP Technical Specialist and is designed to help customers simplify and accelerate the path towards modernizing applications in a cloud native way, leveraging Azure Kubernetes Service and other Azure and open-source technologies.

* The morning session focuses on the role of containers, Kubernetes and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) in cloud-native solution architectures, including a collaborative whiteboard design session.

* The afternoon session is dedicated to hands-on training to acclimate you to the process for containerizing and deploying a cloud native application to AKS and Cosmos DB; Use of GitHub actions for CI/CD; Scaling applications in AKS for high availability; and How to work with services and routing of application traffic.

Over the course of the workshop participants will understand:

* What is Cloud Native and why it is the biggest trend in application development

* What is Kubernetes

* How customers leverage Microsoft technologies to deploy modern applications that scale easily, achieve resiliency and leverage DevOps practices.
